STRATEGIC PLANNING
The Buske Group has worked to gather information and prepare strategic plans for several nonprofit Community Media Centers throughout the United States, including:
- Access Monterey Peninsula - Monterey, California
- Access Sacramento - Sacramento, California
- Cambridge Community Television, Cambridge Educational Access, and CityView – Cambridge, Massachusetts
- Community Access Partners of San Buenaventura - Ventura, California
- Community Media Access Collaborative - Fresno, California
- CTV North Suburbs - Roseville, Minnesota
- Dakota Media Access - Bismarck, North Dakota
- Itasca Community Television – Grand Rapids, Minnesota
- KLTV – Longview-Kelso, Washington
- Larchmont-Mamaroneck Community Television - Mamaroneck, New York
- Malden Access TV (dba Urban Media Arts) – Malden, Massachusetts
- Northwest Community Television (CCX-Media) - Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
The Buske Group has also prepared strategic plans for the Boards of Directors of two national organizations:
- Alliance for Community Media (ACM)
- National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA)
The strategic planning processes conducted by The Buske Group included a series of activities including: (1) Board survey and workshops; (2) a review of current services and facilities; (3) gathering input from key stakeholders through in-person meetings and on-line surveys; (4) analysis of all information gathered; and (5) preparation and presentation of a strategic plan that presents goals, associated strategic initiatives and primary tasks, with associated timelines for each task.
